African Playlist…No musical collection is complete without it.

Africa is a continent that is synonymous with rhythm. You can’t think of Africa without thinking of the music and its rhythms and how it makes the people move. These rhythms are everywhere. From stores, homes, vehicles and just about anything that can produce a sound, you’ll hear music. This music and the infectious rhythms get people smiling and dancing!

I was lucky enough to backpack East Africa by land from Egypt to Mozambique for over a year and a half visiting 12 East African countries. Here, in no particular order is my African Playlist. My favorite African songs I’ve discovered and want to share with you. Hopefully it will have the effect it has on me, which is it gets me dancing, and if not hopefully at least it will put a smile on your face and give you a taste of Africa.
